It seemed like they were dating forever when Gavin Rossdale finally proposed to Gwen Stefani after the two had been dating for about 6 years. Of course, he had to get her father’s permission first, which Rossdale says “he was very gracious” about. In September of 2002, the couple tied the knot in London’s St. Paul’s church.
Despite both Gwen and Gavin being high-profile individuals, the event was described by one of the guests as being “fantastically down-to-earth and ordinary.”
