In a society where we’re constantly competing to be the best, it shouldn’t surprise you to learn that many people over-egg their achievements. They tell their parents they scored higher on their school test, they tell potential bosses that they have more skills than they do, and they even lie about their IQ score.
This woman probably would have gotten away with this lie if the app hadn’t stabbed her in the back. There she was giving her own score, while the app notification had its own score there for everyone to see.
